The Fairlawn Inn is ideally located if you take a hub and spoke approach to visiting many attractions in the area. Within 1.5 hours you have Albany, Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, New Paltz, the new Walkway Over the Hudson, Hyde Park Mansions, the CIA and many more things to do than we could possibly list. The Hunter Mountain area is not only a winter skiing venue but a great place to bike, hike, fish, zipline, fine dine and all the options are too extensive to list. The village offers much to do within walking distance of the inn and is accessible from Amtrak to Hudson, MTA to Poughkeepsie, both places equipped with Enterprise and other rental car agencies. Adirondack Trailways also will get you to our great community. When you book at the Fairlawn you will receive a list of area restaurants and things to do inside that 1.5 hour radius and also what is available within walking distance.
